The Arts Education Branch of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has engaged EmcArts to undertake a series of linked investigative, professional development and program design activities to prepare for the launch of significant innovation work within the district expected to begin in the 2008-2009 school year. This initial work includes preliminary investigation and data analysis, professional development for the LAUSD Arts Education Branch staff, planning for the Innovation Lab and School Cluster interventions, and ongoing contextual research.

As part of the LAUSD project, we developed the following document for the Professional Development Group we worked with on how to draw Systems Dynamics maps.
